A Great Week, so far

My guest from San Diego and I have been traipsing around Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn for three days now. I'm exhausted but it's been great fun. We have been to see a great new dinosaur exhibit at AMNH, then on to the Staten Island Ferry and Snug Harbor. We wanted to see the Chinese Scholar's Garden but we got there too late. So we looked at a lovely portrait show at the Cultural Center and walked around the grounds. After a trip back on the Ferry we had dinner at a Dominican Steak House in Washington Heights. Too much food, but very good.

On Wednesday we went to the Matisse show and spent the entire day at the museum. It was just too hot to do anything else. I'm so glad all those works of art need a cool climate and low humidity.

Today we went to see London in Brooklyn. After lunch, Egypt then back to Manhattan walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. What a great trip.

The most exciting thing: someone came to see the apartment today and Carlos told me there will be three showings on Saturday and possibly an offer. That would really make it a great week.
